'...we all have to remember that today’s school students are the future employees and managers of our companies.' Sir Stanley Kalms, Dixon

The Specialist Schools and Academies Trust is pleased to work with a large and diverse set of sponsors.

Sponsorship can take many forms:

• Some, like Arcadia Group and HSBC, sponsor dozens of schools, implementing programmes of education/business partnership on a national level

• Other business sponsors choose to form a close-knit relationship with a small 'cluster' who learn to work with their sponsor, and each other, interactively

• In other cases, the school may forge an exclusive partnership with a sponsor, either on a geographical basis or because the two have found some unique common ground between them

Sponsorship need not be confined to businesses - some of our key relationships have arisen through the gifts of individuals and some of the biggest charitable trusts in the UK. Sponsorship need not always be in financial terms either - we are able to broker agreements with the DfES enabling in-kind support, such as computer licenses, to be counted towards schools’ bidding target of £50,000.

The Specialist Schools and Academies Trust is a unique broker in all these, helping you to find the right schools for your support. Our unique range of contacts in the charitable sector, business and education makes us uniquely placed to facilitate partnerships throughout the country.

The following case studies demonstrate how sponsors have contributed to the Specialist Schools Programme:
