Introduction to Affiliation

First launched in September 1992, the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust Affiliation Scheme is growing rapidly, and now has a membership of over 3100 schools educating over 1 million children. As well as schools, membership is open to institutions which are non-profit making and education driven.

Affiliation to the Trust – membership of one of the world’s leading school networks – offers multiple opportunities for you to find out about, and draw from, high quality teaching and learning in the secondary system. Affiliates also gain full access to our dedicated site: www.schoolsnetwork.org.uk.
